Great place to do your practicum or internship. Most of the staff is friendly and willing to assist you in anyway and most importantly, as a student getting into the mental health field you get plenty of experience. From what I've seen and encountered personally, therapist are very caring to their clients.

For 10yrs, 2000-2010, i suffered and went through many bouts with Alcohol and Drugs. Multiple arrests, including the last, which was my 3rd DUI. I came to the conclusion, that if i wanted to live to see my Son grow up and if i wanted my life back, i had to STOP and thats what i did. On Oct.27, 2010 i decided to surrender myself to God and sobriety. The Village South and its staff helped and showed me, that their is more to life than just Drugs and Alcohol. After 2mths living at the facility, i found what i had all along been looking for, a new life with Sobriety. And im more than happy to say, come this Oct.27, 2017 ill be celebrating with my family and friends, 7yrs of Sobriety!!! it wasnt easy, its been a rough road, but i wouldnt be the Man or Father that i am today if it wasnt. IT WORKS IF YOU WORK AT IT AND BELIEVE!!!
